A nine week architecture and MEP model for a Chicago office repositioning

A 1970s office tower was being repositioned for a new anchor tenant. Two earlier survey attempts had produced models the design team would not touch, so the developer needed a partner who could deliver a usable file, not just a scan converted to shapes.

A repositioning project that could not afford a third failed model

A 1970s office tower was being repositioned for a new anchor tenant, but the paper drawings on file were incomplete and wrong in several places, and two earlier survey attempts had produced models the design team refused to use.

We audited the existing scan data, rejected three floors with poor coverage and arranged a rescan within a week, then modeled architecture and MEP in parallel using dedicated discipline teams working inside the client Revit template from day one. Floors were released in batches of four so design work could start while later floors were still in production.

The full scope covered 24 floors and two basement levels, with shared coordinates matched to the site survey and a deviation report issued for every release so the client BIM manager could verify accuracy before sign off.
