Scan to BIM Services for Healthcare Facility
Scan to BIM Solutions completed a Scan to BIM project for a large healthcare facility. The building included patient rooms, operation theaters, corridors, utility spaces, and service zones. The client needed a digital model for renovation and ongoing facility management.
The hospital had no updated floor plans. The layout had changed due to upgrades over the years. The facility managers required an accurate BIM model to support planning, design coordination, and safety compliance. Our service provided them with a digital replica of the actual building.
We focused on modeling all architectural and structural elements with high accuracy. This model became a reliable reference for facility teams, engineers, and consultants.
Solutions
We received point cloud data from the healthcare site to provide Scan to BIM Services. Our team used Autodesk ReCap to clean and align the scans. We imported the data into Autodesk Revit and started modeling all key elements. This included rooms, walls, doors, windows, floors, ceilings, and MEP systems.
We followed LOD 300 standards to ensure accuracy and consistency. We used Navisworks to check for system clashes and reviewed the model for coordination. The final output was a fully detailed BIM model, ready for healthcare renovation, planning, and equipment upgrades.
